Many QDRO companies are staffed by personnel who are not attorneys. As such, they merely draft the QDRO and hand it to you for Court filing, certification, and presentation to the Plan Administrator for final acceptance. With these companies, you do most of the work! When comparing fees, one should be mindful of the limited scope of such services.
At QDROColorado.com, we work on your behalf from the beginning until the end (when the QDRO is accepted by the Plan Administrator), thereby ensuring that your benefits are secured and you get the money you deserve.
The following fee schedule includes charges and expenses incurred by me on your behalf (court filing and certification fees, long distance phone and fax charges, certified mailing, express mail & courier service).
Note: The Department of Labor has authorized plan sponsors to charge plan participants and alternate payees "resonable fees" for review and processing of QDROs in thier plans. These fees are not included in this fee schedule and are an expense borne by the client separate from and in addition to the fees quoted herein.
