I have two goals at QDRO Colorado:

- Provide you with the final, Plan approved QDRO needed to secure the retirement benefits you received in your divorce.
My QDRO preparation process is simple. Just call or e-mail me with your QDRO needs. Thereafter, you will receive an e-mail attachment containing the engagement letter and QDRO worksheet, listing all the information and documents I need to prepare the QDRO. Once I receive all required information, I prepare a draft of the QDRO and send it to you via e-mail attachment within 2-5 business days. Please give us a call if you have any questions regarding the completion of the worksheet. You are kept fully informed throughout the entire process.
My low, fixed fee of only $550 fee includes:
- Consultation with you about the specifics of your QDRO needs;
- Gathering all relevant information from you and the Plan Administrator;
- Preparing initial draft of the QDRO;
- Sending QDRO draft to you for initial review;
- Submission of QDRO to Plan Administrator for preliminary approval (if permitted by the Plan);
- Negotiations and any amendments required by the Plan Administrator;
- Filing with Colorado Divorce Court;
- Certifying copies for plan administrator (certification costs included in my fee);
- Submission of the Certified QDRO to the Plan Administrator;
- Receipt of Approval Letter from Plan Administrator and transmittal to client.
Throughout the entire QDRO preparation process, I always stay in constant communication with you. I want you to be informed. Normally, I am immediately available for phone conversation or e-mail communication. If not, I try to respond to your needs as quickly as possible. Here's my pledge to you: I will endeavor to respond to your e-mails and voicemail messages with 24 hours of their receipt. Your matter is handled solely by me- not a staff member.
